It’s 8:48 p.m. and the boys are in bed, not necessarily asleep. I can hear a Junie B Jones podcast coming from J’s room and a Homer podcast coming from Ry’s. Homer is like listening to Opie talk about Mayberry. J has gotten up 3 times to poop or pee. No word from Ry yet.
I created a kid blog with him tonight. He chose the title, colors, and wrote a very short tale. We then identified some u-tube videos. These included images of the “Who,” as they smashed their guitars. For some reason, I recently exposed them to Herb Alpert’s “Tijuana Taxi.” So it made the mix. But the big hit was old looney tune cartoons of Foghorn Leghorn.
His uncle had given him a book about looney tunes. He took it on our vacation and engaged everyone he met in a contest of naming the various characters. Most of us recognized Foghorn Leghorn, but struggled to remember his name. In fact, it took a total stranger overhearing my sons efforts to identify the oversized rooster that led to an answer. The next most difficult one was Speedy Gonzalez and Pepe Le Peu. This didn’t go anywhere near where I thought it was going, so I’ll end.

Unless Michael’s is going to change/expand its inventory, I think the phrase “arts & crafts” involves the creating of a tangible product.
Not to suggest that in the 21st Century, binary code can’t be a part of “arts & crafts.”

Sittingpugs- Thanks for randomly stopping by. I feel a bit confused about who “michael” is and what his inventory is about. And I suspect the internet will create many new definitions for commonly used words and expressions.
